“Girls who eat their feelings, Girls who don’t eat anything…”

*The artist sometimes known as Dagny Taggart is experiencing something of an existential crisis at the moment.  Please enjoy the following post while waiting for the next available meaningful post, which will be with you as soon as possible.

In addition to my billiardian victory, I had a number of amazing experiences whilst romping around Sin City.  Many of them, unsurprisingly, involved some seriously tasty food.

First, I’d just like to say that Paris and the Venetian have a pretty nice little setup going on.  If you like Busch Gardens, but wish it were less cheesy, these are the hotels/casinos for you.  And the Paris buffet is very tasty – but for crêpes, go directly across the “street” to the takeaway window.  Savory and sweet crêpes made to perfection – I recommend ordering your dinner first, then returning to the window for a freshly made dessert experience.

Also, the Wynn has a deli.  A real one, with delectable corned beef, some of the best pastrami I’ve ever had, and house-made rye and marble rye bread.  Also, matzoh ball soup that could make you cry, it’s so good.

In addition to the deli, I cannot recommend the Wynn’s brunch buffet highly enough.  I think pretty much every food on the planet was represented, and represented well.  Also, pepper-encrusted pork belly.  That is all.

Now, having given you a taste of what I was eating last week (in addition to the aforementioned feelings), I’m going to see about exploring the latter half of my title quote — in moderation, of course.  Not to mention hitting the gym.  Next time I go, I’m going to try to pre-diet a bit, in anticipation of the 8 pounds I will undoubtedly gain.

Mostly from going to the Bellaggio and breaking into the patisserie, standing directly under this and drinking to my heart’s content.  Mine will be the mugshot with the white chocolate mustache.
